A fire call that brought the Bureau of Fire Protection rushing to the Bacolod City Hall at about 5:50 p.m. yesterday turned out to be a false alarm.
Fire Officer 1 Felomino Lopez said they discovered smoke coming from a transformer of one of the computers at the Bacolod City Planning and Development Office, which he believed was due to overloading since there is higher consumption of electricity during December. He said there was no damage to property.
