AN EIGHT-MINUTE fire hit a residential area in Makati City Wednesday evening, a fire marshall said.
There were no reported injuries or fatalities in the blaze, which reached first alarm, Senior Fire Officer 2 Juanito Peralta said.
The fire broke out at 8:42 p.m. in the village of Pitogo, said Peralta.
Arson investigators have yet to determine what caused the blaze and how many houses were razed, he said.
The fire was put out around 9:00 p.m., he said.
