About 50,000 pesos worth of properties were lost in a blaze in Malate, Manila late Tuesday, an arson investigator said.
Superintendent Pablito Cordeta, Manila fire marshall, said the semi-abandoned building at 2136 Mother Ignacia Street caught fire at 11:21 p.m.
The fire reached second alarm and lasted for only 20 minutes, he said.
There were no casualties or injuries, Cordeta added.
The cause of fire has yet to be determined, said Cordeta.
