Two persons were killed in a fire that razed at least 400 houses in a crowded community in Quezon City early Monday morning, a GMA Network “Unang Balita” newscast said.
Sketchy reports said the fire that started at about 1 a.m. in the Barangay Escopa of Project 4 may have been caused by two blind persons who threw kerosene lamps at each other in a fit of rage.
So intense were the flames underneath the Katipunan flyover that motorists were prevented from using the bridge, a video footage showed.
